Fencing Biography: Trevor Cassidy
Trevor Cassidy started fencing at DFC in the fall of 2005. Since then he has put up an impressive list of accomplishments. In 2009, he finished top 4 in the open foil standing for the Colorado Cup. He competed in the U.S. Fencing Nationals and finished 19th in the Division III event. He has competed and fence well at numerous local, regional, and national tournaments. For the past two years, he has attended summer fencing camp at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a certified referee in all three weapons.
Trevor is a senior at George Washington High School where he is a top student in the International Baccalaureate program. Beside fencing, Trevor has gift for the piano and played Pirelli in his High School production of Sweeney Todd.
